Gravity Compass is an immersive, meditative, virtual reality experience for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, in which you fly around in a cave activating galaxies to play some really good music.
My responsibilities for this project were:
- Technical Artist
- Cave Texture Mapping and Textures.
- Creating a additive shader to make the galaxies appear volumetric.
- Modeling the Galaxies.
- Lighting the environment
- Lead Developer
- Managing a team of 4 people.
- Designing and Implementing a movement system that almost completely reduces VR sickness.
- Movement System was designed to also work with any VR headset.
